1. Protein Technologies - Automated peptide synthesizers for research, custom, and large-scale peptide production. The Symphony Multiplex Peptide Synthesizer has 12 independent channels.  Users can start, stop, or pause any reaction vessel regardless of what the others are doing. The Prelude (6 parallel channels) handles special amino acid additions with zero prime volumes while the Tribute (2 independent channels, see below) features UV-monitoring and feedback control, 101 unattended couplings, amino acid barcode scanning, a full-color chemical-resistant touchscreen, and cost-effective prepacked amino acid cartridges. Both come with E-mail Notification and Safe-Response features. The PS3 is PTI’s 3-channel introductory unit while the Sonata and Sonata XT are for gram to near kilogram quantities of peptide.

2. AAPPTec - fully automated peptide and organic synthesizers for research and large scale production. Synthesizers include the Apex 396 Multiple peptide synthesizer (1-96 same or different peptides, 0.005-0.40 mmol per well), the Focus XC (2-6 reaction vessels, 0.01-5.2 mmol per reaction vessel, 24 90 mL AA/reagent vessels, measuring vessel, online cleavage, temperature control option), the Endeavor 90 which comes in three designs (0.05 - 15 mmol per reaction vessel, temperature control option) for small to mid-scale synthesis, the Vantage multiple peptide synthesizer with heating and cooling capabilities  (1-96 same or different peptides, 0.005-0.40 mmol per well, temperatures of –78 C-150 C), the Model 400 for large scale production (2 L - 50 L reactors), the Apogee for synthesis of single peptides and difficult sequences (0.05-0.2 mmol, 36 10 mL amino acid vessels, online cleavage, measuring vessel, temperature control option), the Titan 357 for split-and-combine chemistry (36 reaction wells for 1-36 same or different peptides at a 0.025-0.02 mmol scale per well, one large 500 mL reaction vessel for the split-and-combine or large scale synthesis), and finally the Matrix 384 for Ultra-high throughput synthesis of up to 384 same or different peptides simultaneously (0.005-0.05 mmol per well, temperature control option).

3. Activotec - vendors of a line of manual synthesizers for organic solid phase or combinatorial chemistry purposes. They also sell the Activo-P11 automated peptide synthesizer

4. Applied Biosystems - makers of the ABI 433 peptide synthesizer for Fmoc and Boc solid phase synthesis. They also sell parts and accessories for their ABI and Pioneer (now discontinued) series of synthesizers.

5. Biotage - The Syro I and Syro II Parallel Peptide Synthesizers are fully automatic, computer controlled peptide synthesizers with one and two arm pipetting robots, respectively.  Biotage is distributor for the MultiSyntec Syro I and Syro II in North America and various other regions world-wide.

6. Buchi - the Syncore Reactor is designed for parallel combinatorial chemistry and solid phase peptide synthesis. Heating, cooling, and vortexing can be adjusted to optimize reaction conditions.

7. CEM - supplier of microwave peptide synthesizers (manual and automated) for enabling synthesis of difficult and longer peptides. The automated Liberty system allows for the unattended synthesis of up to twelve different peptides with a scale range of 0.1 - 5.0mmol.

8. CS Bio - suppliers of research scale, bench top, process scale and manufacturing scale synthesizers, all fully validated for GMP usage - single reactors synthesizers from 40mL to 400L as well as multi-reactor synthesizers for small scale synthesis.

9. CSPS Pharmaceuticals - makers of MULTIBLOCK, a 48 manual, benchtop reactor for parallel synthesis

10. Innolabtec - benchtop instruments for parallel organic synthesis on the multi-milligram (InnoGram) and multi-gram (SemiGram) scale

11. Intavis - makers of three different peptide synthesizers (Autospot, MultiPep SPOT, and MultiPep). The AutoSpot is a an instrument for the synthesis of peptide arrays on membranes. Full automation of this process is possible with their MultiPep SPOT kit. The MultiPep is a "multi-platform" instrument and can synthesize peptides in plates, on membranes, or using columns.

13. Mettler Toledo - The MiniBlock is designed for solid phase peptide synthesis and the synthesis of peptide libraries. Up to 96 peptides are synthesized in parallel on a cost effective and scalable benchtop platform.

14. Multisyntech - makers of various instrumentation for completely automated (Syro I - Syro II) or semi-automated (SAP - SAM) peptide synthesis. In addition, they make an instrument suitable for automated, combinatorial solid phase synthesis (SAS).

15. Peptide Scientific - makers of the PSI 500, a fully automated preparative peptide synthesizer for GMP production

16. TechniKrom - maker of a process scale peptide synthesizer for industrial use

17. Scigene - the FlexChem peptide synthesis system can be used for performing parallel, manual synthesis of 96 or 48 peptides. The system is composed of a chemically resistant reactor / filtration block with independently removable sealing covers. Peripheral devices for loading solid supports; vacuum washing and recovery of products; and an optional benchtop rotator complete the system.

18. Thuramed - (a CreoSalus company) - their proprietary peptide synthesizers include the TETRAS asynchronous multiple peptide robotic synthesizer, the T1000 GMP production synthesizer, and the T100 bench top automatic synthesizer.
