1. Protein Technologies - Automated peptide synthesizers for research, custom, and large-scale peptide production. The Overture Robotic Peptide Library Synthesizer (see below) has up to 96 reaction vessels divided into 6 independent reaction vessel blocks.  Features automatic peptide library generation and automated cleavage.  No rinsing between amino acid deliveries saves solvent and time!  The Symphony Multiplex Peptide Synthesizer has 12 independent channels.  Users can start, stop, or pause any reaction vessel regardless of what the others are doing. The Prelude (6 parallel channels) handles special amino acid additions with zero prime volumes while the Tribute (2 independent channels, see below) features UV-monitoring and feedback control, 101 unattended couplings, amino acid barcode scanning, a full-color chemical-resistant touchscreen, and cost-effective prepacked amino acid cartridges. Both come with email notification and safe-response features. The PS3 is PTI’s 3-channel introductory unit while the Sonata and Sonata XT are for gram to near kilogram quantities of peptide.

3. Activotec - vendors of a line of manual synthesizers for organic solid phase or combinatorial chemistry purposes. They also sell the Activo-P11 automated peptide synthesizer

4. Applied Biosystems -  parts and accessories for their ABI 431-433 and Pioneer (now discontinued) series of synthesizers

5. Biotage - Biotage is a global provider of microwave peptide synthesizers, purification columns, and resins. The Syro family of synthesizers includes the SyroWave, a fully automated system which allows the user to run difficult peptide sequences in the microwave cavity, and also to use parallel synthesis capabilities to save time and increase throughput. Biotage also provides Resolux purification columns and ChemMatrix resins and recently introduced the Initiator Peptide Workstation, a cost-effective, manual system ideal for universities.

6. Buchi - the Syncore Reactor is designed for parallel combinatorial chemistry and solid phase peptide synthesis. Heating, cooling, and vortexing can be adjusted to optimize reaction conditions.

7. CEM - supplier of microwave peptide synthesizers (manual and automated) for enabling the synthesis of difficult and longer peptides. The automated Liberty system allows for the unattended synthesis of up to twelve different peptides with a scale range of 0.05 - 5.0 mmol.  The Liberty1 system features a single channel that is affordable and easy to use. 

8. CS Bio - C S Bio manufactures a complete line of automated peptide synthesizers focused on production, scale-up, process development and manufacturing. Their instruments are fully validated for cGMP synthesis as certified by an independent auditor. Their synthesizers are are validated for cGMP synthesis by an independent auditor. Their synthesizers are installed by a C S Bio engineer regardless of world location and include on-site training and a full 1 year service warranty.

9. CSPS Pharmaceuticals - makers of MULTIBLOCK, a 48 manual, benchtop reactor for parallel synthesis

11. Intavis - makers of three different peptide synthesizers (Autospot, MultiPep, and ResPep). The AutoSpot is a an instrument for the synthesis of peptide arrays on membranes. The MultiPep is a "multi-platform" instrument and can synthesize peptides in plates, on membranes, or using columns.  The ResPep is a fully automated benchtop synthesizer.  "SPOT" upgradesof the last two product lines allow for the fully automated synthesis of peptide arrrays on membranes.

13. Mettler Toledo - The MiniBlock is designed for solid phase peptide synthesis and the synthesis of peptide libraries. Up to 96 peptides are synthesized in parallel on a cost effective and scalable benchtop platform.

14. MultiSynTech - makers of various instrumentation for completely automated (Syro I - Syro II) or semi-automated (SAP - SAM) peptide synthesis. In addition, they make an automated microwave synthesizer (Syro Wave).

15. Peptide Scientific - makers of the PSI 200, PSI 300, PSI 400, PSI 500, and PSI 600 models that offer a range of synthetic scales (10 mg to 10 kg) and levels of automation.  Synthesizers for R and D purposes to a fully automated preparative peptide synthesizer for GMP production are available.
